Two tower technicians were killed last Wednesday while working on a tower in Jacksonville, Florida, according to WJXT News4Jax, a local television station. Each tower tech, who were working as subcontractors for AT&T, were shot multiple times in the early morning hours.
One of the men, identified as Phillip Harley, 37, was married and the father of five children, and Michael Thomas, 33, both from Georgia. Harley was the co-owner of Harley and Sibs Logistics LLC of Thomaston, Georgia.
An armed robbery was reported at the address of the cell tower two nights before the shooting.
