123eWireless has introduced its XtremeWeather RET assembly (part number 123-171), waterproof AISG solution. The XRET is an integrated design where the connector and the cable are fused into one assembly, making it resistant to moisture, contamination, and corrosion. The 123-171 is a replacement to part numbers 66-170 and 123-170, and can be used in lieu of standard RET connectors, which are not waterproof and will eventually fail in the field. The XRET features a fused gasket sealed body that eliminates the chance of moisture running down the cable and seeping into the connector. The gasket encapsulated contacts and a gasket sealed mating face further eliminate the chance for corrosion. www.123ewireless.com
