American Tower Lands John Hancock Center Rooftop

American Tower has purchased the rooftop space atop the John Hancock Center in Chicago for $70 million from a joint venture of Deutschbank and Northstar Realty and Finance, according to the Chicago Real Estate Daily. The rooftop of the skyscraper, which houses TV and radio transmission equipment, totaled 34,000 square feet. http://tinyurl.com/bl4smep
