Chipset Solution for Wireless Backhaul Radio Systems

M/A-COM Technology Solutions has announced 18-GHz and 23-GHz chipset solutions for wireless backhaul applications. The chipsets are designed using the same systems-driven approach to integration as M/A-COM Tech’s 38-GHz and 42-GHz solutions that are deployed in the field today. Each M/A-COM Tech chipset enables OEM customers to achieve faster time-to-market with optimal performance. Encapsulated in convenient surface-mount packages, the chipsets also facilitate the use of common high-volume assembly lines in manufacturing operations. Samples of the 18-GHz and 23-GHz chipset components are available for qualified customers. Production quantities will be available in Q1 2013.
