August 4, 2016 — The Communications Workers of America and AT&T Mobility have reached a tentative agreement with AT&T Mobility, which covers health care and other benefits for 42,000 workers nationwide, according to the CWA.
CWA “accomplished our main goal, which was to put health care benefits bargaining back in the regional bargaining agreement process and to make health care affordable for all Mobility workers,” said CWA District 1 Vice President Dennis Trainor. Four separately negotiated Mobility contracts now cover compensation and working conditions.

Ratification will be conducted over the next several weeks.
