From its origins in 1969, Flash Technology has pursued global leadership in obstruction lighting through innovations in lighting solutions and the systems that support their reliable operation. Flash Technology is proud to announce the newest innovation in obstruction lighting, the Vanguard™ LED series. The Vanguard™ was designed, developed, tested, and manufactured at our facility in the United States. This new design is nothing like what has been provided before.

The Vanguard™ LED series is the most advanced lighting system Flash Technology has ever developed. The FTS 370d is a white LED flashing light for day and red LED flashing light for night to create FAA tower types E1 or E2 for structures between 200’ and 500’ AGL. White and Red systems are available. The Vanguard™ LED series is Intertek ETL certified.

The tower and obstruction lighting community has been asking for something like this for years, and Flash Technology has been listening. The focus of the design was to provide forward compatibility, various monitoring options, modular upgradeable design, easier installation and lighting inspections, longer life, and extensive surge protection. All of these features and more are fit into a small yet durable design.
