Kiva Allgood is senior director of Global Market Development for Smart Cities within Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. As the global business lead for Qualcomm’s Smart Cities initiative, Allgood helps strategic partners and cities build long term connectivity plans and strategies that help improve the livability, sustainability and connectivity fabric for its citizens. This includes providing critical insight into Qualcomm’s entire product, software and services portfolio.
Before joining Qualcomm, Allgood ran a start up focused on delivering high quality headphones and hearing devices to special needs children and adults. Prior to the start up Allgood held executive positions at Motorola and GE. Most recently she was the general manager for N.A. Retail and MVNO Sales at Motorola’s Handset Division in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to this role she held executive management roles in Global Product Management and Operations.
Allgood has held board seats on the Chicago North County United Way, GE Leadership Council, Motorola Women’s Council, Project Six by Six, TVIA and several other regional programs and activities.
Allgood holds a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University and an MBA from Kellogg.
