The American-made Horizon LED series of warning lights from Hughey & Phillips is for use on new and retrofit structures that require aircraft warning lights. For retrofit applications, the existing cable on the structure can be used for cost savings. The device is available in red (L864), white (L865), and dual (L864/L865) medium-intensity lights. The dual-LED strobe system provides daytime white and nighttime red lights in one compact unit. It features a self-contained power supply with available GPS sync. The day/night sensor simplifies wiring and accepts external signals if desired. Features include advanced LED modules, cutting-edge optics, individual LED monitoring/bypass, active lightning protection, built-in testing and microprocessor control. The units can be serviced and repaired in the field. The unit also monitors the system and provides a normally open or normally closed alarm contact upon any system failure.
