August 6, 2015 — Subcarrier Communications, a wireless infrastructure development and rooftop management company headquartered in Old Bridge, New Jersey, has purchased Houston-based, AC Site Management, a telecom engineering and site management firm, for $2.1 million.
“The purchase of AC Site Management represents a logical next step in creating substantial value for Subcarrier and for our customers,” said Subcarrier Communications CEO John Paleski. “Current and prospect Subcarrier customers will benefit through new service capabilities, and expanded geographic reach.”
The transaction is evidence of Subcarrier’s intention to serve multiple industries, including wireless carriers, broadcasters, federal agencies, municipalities, real estate and telecommunication tower owners. AC Site Management’s portfolio includes tower sites and rooftop sites for broadcast, microwave, wireless data, cellular and PCS, LMR/SMR (two-way radio), and wireless cable (MMDS and ITFS).
The acquisition of AC Site Management also complements Subcarrier’s recently opened Houston regional office, which is staffed by telecom industry veterans Dudley Norman and Greg Weger. With the Houston office serving as its southwest territory base, Subcarrier aims to deepen its presence throughout the southwestern region. Current AC Site Management customers will continue to be served by Subcarrier’s office in Houston, Texas.
