Sun Power to be Masterflux Distributor

June 8, 2015 — Sun Power Technologies announces that it has been awarded the North American distributorship for the Masterflux® 48 Volt DC, 1700 BTU Cabinet Cooler. The cooler, TDC-500A is produced at the Tecumseh ISO 9001 manufacturing facility located in Hyderabad, India and will be distributed from the Sun Power Technologies warehouse in Westfield, Indiana.

The TDC-500A is designed for cooling batteries and outdoor transmission racks in ambient temperatures up to 55 degrees C. The Power Consumption at 48 Volt is 315 watts with 1700 BTU Cooling Capacity.

Fully electric, battery based air conditioning systems allow the operator to reduce OPEX costs and grid-power consumption related to cooling demand. The DC Battery Cooling product line also allows for entire shelter and enclosure configurations to be completely autonomous from grid power with PV or wind input. With the addition of this product Sun Power Technologies now offer Direct Current air conditioners from 1700-22,000 BTU with a voltage range of 12-48 volts.
