Jason Miller of Tillman Infrastructure has been appointed to serve on the Precision Ag Task Force Working Group on Examining Current and Future Connectivity Demand for Precision Agriculture. FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel recently appointed Working Group members to serve on the Task Force for Reviewing the Connectivity and Technology Needs of Precision Agriculture.

Miller has been in the construction industry for more than 20 years. He went to school for Engineering and Physics at the University of Hawaii. A former tower climber, Miller also serves as NATE’s Wireless Industry Network State Liaison for Georgia. He has earned many certifications including CSM-C, Dale Carnegie Leadership Training, OSHA 500/510 Instructor, NWSA TTT-1 and TTT-2, NWSA Practical Examiner, Comtrain Competent Rigging, Climbing and Rescue Instructor and over 30 other tower related certifications.

Miller also has extensive planting and harvesting experience with a variety of crops and also developed and operated high-tech irrigation systems on farms with more than 200 acres of land.

“It is an honor to be appointed by Chairwoman Rosenworcel to serve on the Working Group and help address the connectivity needs for precision agriculture,” said Miller. “Having grown up working on a family farm and working in the wireless industry, I have a unique perspective that will contribute to the FCC’s important work. Thank you to NATE for recognizing my extensive experiences in the telecommunications industry and as a family farmer, and for recommending me to serve with other distinguished members of the Precision Ag Task Force.”
