UCI Construction Purchased by Private Equity Firm

January 19, 2015 — Concentric Equity Partners, headquartered in Chicago, has purchased Tampa-based UCI Construction Services, which specializes in wireless infrastructure construction and installation. Founded in 1996, UCI also provides testing and inspections, management programs, collocation brokering and site certification.

Concentric, a private equity firm, partners with entrepreneurs and operators to grow their businesses with additional resources. UCI Managing Director Tom Staszak said the acquisition is part of UCI Construction Services’ plan for growth.

“UCI chose a partner in Concentric that will enable substantial growth for the company for many years. Concentric is committed to investing in the future of UCI and they are actively pursuing additional growth opportunities,” Staszak said. Todd Schlemmer and the management of UCI will remain as significant owners in the company.

Generational Capital, a Dallas-based M&A firm, advised UCI on the deal.
