A 21-year-old technician died from injuries sustained in a fall from a water tower, March 19, in Pasadena, Md.
Chad Louis Weller, of Stevensville, Md., was employed by a private contracting company and was working on communications equipment located atop of the 180-foot tower when he fell.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department was alerted to the incident at 2:30 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, fire personnel found the man unconscious and unresponsive. Paramedics aggressively attempted to resuscitate the worker, but he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The incident is currently under investigation by Maryland Occupational Safety and Health.
