Women’s Wireless Leadership Forum (WWLF) has announced the 2014-2016 Executive Leadership Team. The officers were elected at the end of 2013 and took office January 1, 2014. The team consists of President-Nicole AndrePont, Vice President-Brook Bascom, Secretary-Lynn Whitcher, and Treasurer-Georgeann Blair. The Executive Directors were appointed by the President in January. The Executive Directors are: Events-Amelia DeJesus, Education-Michelle Salisbury, Industry Relations-Blair Bode, Ways & Means-Carolyn Hardwick, Brand Management-Brittany Lawler, Programs-Ann Brooks. Membership is currently an open seat.
Both tiers of the leadership will serve a two year term with WWLF, along with committee members who also volunteer under each department. President, Nicole AndrePont says of WWLF and the team, “I am truly honored to be a part of WWLF at this level. It takes a lot of hands to support an expanding organization, and I believe this Board of Directors is a powerhouse team. We have assembled a talented, diverse group of women, who are highly passionate about WWLF’s mission. It is inspiring to be surrounded by such energy. I look forward to working with all of these women; I have so much respect for their commitment to the growth of women in our industry.”
WWLF is a volunteer association for professional women in the wireless communications industry. Through WWLF’s events, members share expertise, broaden contacts, and advance their career opportunities. WWLF celebrates the experience of the many successful women in the communications industry.
WWLF is a division of PCIA – The Wireless Infrastructure Association. PCIA is the principal trade association representing the companies that make up the wireless telecommunications infrastructure industry.
